In early August, the Guilin Rubber Machinery Plant made even more progress in its science and technology when it developed a mechanical arm device for its tire vulcanizer, something that has been applied to 1,680 (65.5 in.) new hydraulic vulcanizers. On the older models, the mechanical arm is not really controlled and has several disadvantages -- slow rotation, less flexibility, lack of precision after long use -- that affected tire quality. This new device avoids all of these with stable performance, rotation precision, durability, simple structure, easier assembly, and easy maintenance. An application for a utility patent has been filed.
